Indian Summer exhibition  27 August - 21 September 2025

Dont we all dream about a better and longer warm period in the summer so we can enjoy ourselves with picnic, beach and a walk in nature. Let us hope that we will get an Indian summer this year. Let us hope that winter will wait to come. The exhibition in Gallery Helsingør has the theme Indian Summer. We will continue the summer from 27 august to 21 september. Lets hope it will be more warm before autum. No rain at all. Let us dance an oppisite rain danse and continue the good weather.

All Artist belongs The Art Association for Helsingør and the Surrounding Area.

All participating artists has one artpiece exhibited.

What is Indian Summer?

An Indian summer is a period of unseasonably warm, dry weather that sometimes occurs in autumn in temperate regions of the northern hemisphere. Several sources describe a true Indian summer as not occurring until after the first frost, or more specifically the first "killing frost".^[1][2][3]

The Art Association for Helsingør and the Surrounding Area has always been for both art enthusiasts and performing artists, the association continues to be so because we thought this gives the association the diversity that we have always had and that we like. We are an association where everyone has the opportunity to show their art, we almost never censor, only in very special cases like the exhibition "Art cross borders", where we always collaborate with Helsingborg Art Association - this collaboration will take place for the 10th time in 2025 - it will be exciting. So you can participate in exhibitions, tours, galleries, general meetings, etc., where you can see art and crafts together with others with a common interest. You receive "Print of the Year" at the general meeting, where you also participate in the draw for art and crafts. Here you also have the opportunity to be chosen as "Artist of the Year" or with "Picture of the Year". The Art Association for Helsingør and the surrounding area collaborates with other art associations in North Zealand and with Helsingborg Art Association.
